On Monday, 2/06/2026 at approximately 12:52 AM, on IH 35 South Northbound near Cesar Chavez Blvd. a fatal pedestrian collision occurred. The unknown vehicle fled the location with rendering aid. The victim, Quinton Simmons, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
