On Wednesday, 2/18/2026, at 5:58 AM, the Victim was crossing the street from the address 1871 Bandera Rd (Bandera Express Mart) to the north side of Bandera (1850 Bandera Rd); it is unknown at this time whether the Complainant was using the crosswalk. While the Complainant walked into the Southbound Lane on Bandera Rd, she was struck by an SB traveling sedan. After the accident, the driver fled without providing any aid to the Complainant or identifying himself. The scene evidence indicated that the involved suspect vehicle was a 2008–2011 light-colored Ford Focus Sedan. The vehicle is suspected to have damage to the front right headlight, the front windshield, and a missing windshield wiper. (Photo is an example of the vehicle make and model as a reference.)
