Synopsis:
On Saturday August 6, 2022, at approximately 1:57 AM, the victim and his roommate were outside their apartment standing near the base of a stairwell located at 6503 W. Commerce Street. A silver / gray four-door vehicle pulled into the property. The vehicle stopped in the parking lot and someone inside the vehicle shouted a question at the victim and his roommate. After a brief interaction, someone inside the vehicle discharged multiple rounds from a firearm, fatally wounding the victim and seriously wounding his roommate. The vehicle fled the location after the shooting.
