Synopsis:
On Friday, April 12th, 2019 at approximately 8:55 pm neighbors reported shots fired in the Starcrest Apartment complex on 2167 Northeast Loop 410. The victim, 19 y/o Benny Ray Odem, was found lying in the threshold of a door and had been shot. The victim later died at SAMMC. Some witnesses reported seeing a white SUV fleeing the scene. There have been no suspects identified at this time.
