On May 17, 2018, the White male suspect pictured above walked into the IHOP restaurant and he told the female employee he wanted to buy a gift card. When the employee walked over to the cash register, the suspect said he was armed with a handgun and showed the employee what he said was a bomb he was holding in his hand. The suspect threatened to kill everyone in the restaurant if the employee didn’t give him the money from the cash register. The employee opened the cash register and placed the money inside a white plastic bag the suspect gave her. After the employee placed the money in the bag, the suspect grabbed the bag from the counter, he walked out of the restaurant, and he fled in what was described as a four door tan or beige sedan.
